Founded by former collegiate and professional baseball players, the Massachusetts Captains Baseball Club is dedicated to developing amateur athletes to compete at their highest level. With firsthand experience as players, coaches, and parents, we understand what truly matters—and what families need—as they navigate the journey of youth sports. We know what elite development actually looks like, and we've built a program that delivers it at every age. From their first competitive reps to the pursuit of playing at the next level, we develop skilled players, complete athletes, great teammates, and confident young men.

High-Level Coaching at Every Age
Our coaches bring high-level playing and coaching experience, but understand that development looks different at every age. We meet players where they are and provide the right instruction, expectations, and challenges for where they want to go.
A Pathway From Day One
We don't just coach the player in front of us—we develop the player they're becoming. Younger players build strong fundamentals, habits, and baseball IQ. As they grow, we challenge them to refine their skills, become better competitors, and pursue their individual goals.
The Right Level of Competition
We build schedules around competition that challenges our players and supports their development. As players get older, we add opportunities to compete in high-level tournaments, showcases, and environments that can provide exposure to college programs.
Character Matters
Talent matters, but it's not the only thing we value. We want players and families who are committed to getting better, being great teammates, bringing a positive attitude, and contributing to the program. Great players and great people make great teams.
Development That Shows Up on Game Day
We teach mechanics, baseball IQ, preparation, and good habits—then give players the freedom to compete. Games are where players learn to make decisions, respond to adversity, take appropriate risks, and put their development into action.
Compete the Right Way
We play to win, but never at the expense of development or how we represent the program. Preparation, effort, accountability, sportsmanship, and being a great teammate are the standards we expect every time a Captains player takes the field.

Youth baseball is a significant commitment for families, and we take that seriously. We work to provide exceptional coaching, training, facilities, competition, and development while keeping costs as reasonable and transparent as possible. Our goal is to build relationships with players and families that last for years—not one season.
